Testimonial – Principal Knight

I want to thank you for all the time and effort you expended in involving Mixter students with planning, drawing sketches, and painting the banners to promote awareness and appreciation of our community. what a fantastic project for the City of Lincoln Park, and how fortunate we were for your visitation. Your creative energy was inspirational to all who participated. . .

You were able to encourage children to think about their community, and to express their interest and become actively involved with their surroundings. With your enthusiasm and dedication, you provided quality time for the children to share a fun, educational”art event” at school. Adults and students commented on how much they enjoyed working with you and learning from you.

Your efforts were evident not only with the hands-on art project, but also with the program introduction regarding art history and appreciation. This was a learning experience not only for the students, but also for the adults in attendance.

Thank you again for all you have done to create a wonderfully successful event for students, parents, staff and the community. As a result of this creative effort, Lincoln Park residents will also be able to appreciate the artworks now displayed on our Main Street lampposts. You are truly appreciated!
